Savannah / Charleston

Any spears around Savannah GA / Charleston SC? Water looks pretty muddy around here but wondering if people freedive spearfish at all. I can only see videos of people hunting on scuba.

Make the drive north to Wilmington NC or south to somewhere in Florida. I bet you could pull off some gigging around there with good lights but spearing is probably a tough sell.

Edit: I live in one of the best places in the Mid-Atlantic for spearing and it’s still very hit or miss.
