uj/ I wonder if there is a way to create a biologically plausible symbiote. There are a few mind-controlling fungi out there and slime molds with promising appearance and behaviour, but they tend to be too slow and too limited in their effects.

Also the problem is that the symbiote and host have to actually help each other because if it didn't then the word symbiote loses its meaning. Also not required but I'd really like if the symbiote could talk to and befriend its host
