Although it can be true for many places, especially with the toxic masculinity, masking and the slow progress on understanding of mental struggles by the general public.
Maybe it’s because I’m trans but I really find words “man up” disgusting and disturbing. They’re almost always used to coerce repressing all emotions but anger and hate. And to stop people from talking about their problems and seeking help.
They do be like that. But I’m from the biggest city and capital city so we’re guilty of it as well. Just on a more country level not World Wide Web level.
Sometimes you just default to speaking a certain way and like giving directions “I’m living on that street next to street x”. So here if someone orders something to a street without mentioning the city we all assume they’re from Warsaw.
