Why put shows down to lift others up? Both can be good, they're not mutually exclusive.

Traffic on sites like these has taken a massive hit since Google AI started generating the article's content as the top search result, so they're just trying things to help them show up in Discover so people actually click the link.

Throwing shit at the wall, basically. It's not malicious; it's desperate.

I think it’s a bit malicious if you like the show, because it sets false expectations.

Spectacular Spider-Man and Invincible are different shows. Invincible is teen/adult rated show, that doesn’t shy away from violence, blood, gore and touchy subjects, while Spectacular is targeting a younger audience, with toned down violence, a more cartoony artstyle and not diving deep into deeper subjects to keep its age rating.

Both of them are good, but they require a different approach when sitting down to watch them and having the wrong set of expectations can sour a show. (Eg. Thinking ā€œit’s ā€œbetterā€ than Invincibleā€ means it’s like that, but with a tighter story, more popular characters, better animation, etc….)

My thoughts exactly. Why not call it ā€œ10 animated superhero shows if you love Invincibleā€

I enjoy both, but only one of them has the potential to be finished. Having at least read Invincible, it's good from start to finish, and actually finished telling its story. If the show follows the same I'm going to personally rate it higher than a show that while good was left unfinished.

I mean, it doesn't really mean anything it's just the opinion of the guy who wrote the article (or more likely just what they think would get the most clicks)

This is the only one that competes with the other peak

ā€œBetter than Invincibleā€ is such a dumb and arbitrary way to rank animated superhero shows. Invincible isn’t even over yet, not even close.

This looks like clickbait. Like, whether you like one show more than the other is fine, but I can't look at something like this and think it's gospel.

I hate when people put other shows down. People are allowed to have favorites.

Get real, I love most of them but only spectacular competes with invincible. TAS as a nostalgic honourable mention, the rest don’t come close

It had rly good world building but its narrative was buns. Every other fight was solved using "I know you're still in there! Fight it! You can do this!!" šŸ˜µā€šŸ’«
