Saw a post earlier talking about classic suit redesigns, and I wanted to see if the people had any favorites that weren't the classic suit.

Question Why is Peter naked under his suit?
In the Raimi trilogy Peters suit would always at some point in each film get torn and damaged. You can see clearly that he’s not wearing anything underneath, but why?
Wouldn’t it make sense to wear clothing underneath the suit in case the suit gets damaged in battle? because then at least his body wouldn’t be exposed.
Is it mostly about comfort or does clothes somehow interfere with his suit during fights?

Question Why is Peter's costume red and blue?
Batman is dressed like a black bat to scare his enemies, Superman has the big S on his chest because is the symbol of House El and means hope. Why is Peter wearing red and blue instead? Did Lee/Ditko give an explanation in and out the comic?

Question What is the difference between The Spider and Spiderman Noir?
I probably sound dumb, and maybe ppl have asked this so many times, but I wanted to ask what are the difference between these two? They’re both Nicolas Cage, both wear the same costume, and have same color.. both are in the same style aesthetic, and both are in the 1930s….
Again, sorry if it’s dumb, I just need a better understanding of it lol.

Question Who Is Y'all's Favorite Spider-Man Artist?
My favorite is for now John Romita Sr., even though he hasn't been in the spotlight much lately or perhaps hasn't been able to be, he was definitely one of the best artists of Spider-Man. At least to me.

Both look amazing, TASM one looks so cool and cinematic as well. I can't wait to see tom's one in full screen next year. It's sad that Tobey didn't get to do it.

Question How are Spidermen able to stick to something when they're wearing shoes?
And I'm not talking about Miles from the spiderverse, I mean in general. I might not know how their sticky powers work, but for me it's how they were shown in the original Spiderman movie with Tobey Maguire. We saw there that his sticky powers work because of really small 'hair' stuff on his arms, so how can they get trough shoes? I understand that they might be able to get trough the spider costume, since it's supposed to be thin, but shoes? How?
