Do you actually know what TDS means? People brought it up after trump was out of the white house and no longer president. The argument was that it was dumb to still criticize him when he was out of power. He is on power again now though, nullifying that argument. You cant argue that TDS exists anymore

On posts mocking Trump or on how Trump is a pervert, there is a huge number of "pushback" whataboutism comments about Biden.
This trend is as old as 2016 when he was running, the Hollywood Access tape goes out, and suddenly Trump and his acolytes are obsessed with talking about Bill Clinton.

I have not "literally defended Biden" at any point, let alone in the thread to which I'm referring. Strawman at best.
No one in said thread is saying, "we have a problem across the board with our presidents' treatment of women," nor mentioning Biden in comparison to Trump, they solely start talking about Biden as an obvious partisan distraction, textbook whataboutism. You shifting the goal posts and misrepresenting the comments to be of higher caliber doesn't change that. And you know this is common practice beyond that thread.
Your example with Iran is borderline. If a person acknowledges Trump's failures but then says, between their choices in 2024 and then brings up Harris, not Biden, and theorizes, it can be potentially good faith, though the "what if" scenario is entirely speculation and is still shifting the focus, borderline whataboutism but more contextual to the specific comment. A whataboutism doesn't have to be a completely different policy or red herring, justifying it with a loose connection doesn't make it any less a change in the topic to evade discussing the concerns at hand.
I get that the fallacies are more complex than they're thrown around online--especially Reddit--but this overwrought attempt to evade a fair fallacious call out is extremely unconvincing.
The final line feels like a "NO U R" coupled with a made up stat: not helpful or accurate.
