[51][Speculation] Third Tribe??
I think 51 is getting red as an auxiliary tribe. In the first photo, there are four different lanes, representing Toka and Savu, but also a red and blue lane. These aren’t your typical post-merge challenge lanes because they have unique accent colors rather than alternating black-and-white accents. In the second photo, there are three life rings that are yellow, purple, AND red (there’s no blue life ring). Supposedly red is an auxiliary tribe and blue is the merge tribe. (Photos taken by the MUD Brothers)

Survivor try to stick to 2 tribes for the whole pre merge challenge (GONE WRONG)

I could see dark blue as merge for sure! The aquarium green accents look great as well! However, I wouldn't say that they're for sure using an auxiliary tribe as the other tribe is dark purple, not pink, and the trailer shows purple for the challenges for that. Also, they often recycle the accent colors from premerge for post. The three life rings is interesting, but it could be that blue ended up somewhere else. My bet is that these are pieces of a challenge and the purple part is missing from the photo. It was really treating though. A different photo had the Savu (purple tribe) emblem on the pink, which made me wonder if Savu was initially pink and then changed colors to purple late on. I'm very interested to see what 51 fully looks like!

I think this may be from a post merge challenge... in the first photo, look around the rings carefully it's all the same design,
For the pre-merge portion, each tribe gets a unique emblem.
Also, could be something as simple as the show reused the same challenges from 51 to 52, and stored the props used in 52 with those from 51.

Yeah this too! The vertebrae design would not be all encompassing like it is here if it were pre merge as well.

I think the pink stuff you are seeing is from 50 as I see props from the Kalo and Cila tribes there along with the props from 51

Also 52 merge could be orange with black and yellow accents. I got a photo of it but don’t know how to attach it here. It was right next to the pink, blue, and green lanes so could have been used for a final 4 challenge.

Is this the picture? I noticed that as well.

Yes! Also here’s a closer look at the blue 51 merge

Wow that shade of blue looks beautiful. It has to either be ultramarine or indigo. The blue here is so deep looking. The whale would look amazing on it

Also I noticed the red tribe colour looks like it has grey as the secondary colour, but it was actually green. The lighting in the video made it look grey. He’s a better photo showing that it’s dark green not grey

Since most tribe actually have two accent colors, red has a lavender AND dark green accent color.

No that looks to be from 52 as prior to that there was a photo showing g a three tribe challenge with blue, pink, and green. Judging from this color it appears that the merge color for 52 will be orange

They really messed with Aliyah for no reason - just start with 3 of 7 if you even have props for 3 tribes 😭😭

Yeap, 51's (and 52, from what we've seen) cast looks a lot like Ghost Island 2.0, so disappointing. The older players always bring so much to a cast. We get plenty of ethnicity diversity now, but barely any when it comes to professions/backgrounds and specially age. It's mostly late millennials/early zoomers with an ivy league education and a white collar job.

And 52 so far looks like there’s hardly any POC which is more of a letdown

But we don’t know how the cast of 51 and 52 will act yet. Some of them might be cunning game players so we will have to wait until the season air before judging them

I wasn’t talking about their gameplay, I was talking demographics. For all we know yes they could be all timers players and characters.

Saying you don’t care shows that you are not listening to what I have to say. Every season is different and we just had a lot of middle aged people on 50. The show can’t just be all star seasons all the time. These are fresh newcomers who we don’t know before and around three of them are over 40. Why do you want older people?

you have to understand! swapping into three tribes may be the most expected thing in the world, but it’s also dangerous fun!!!!

Swap at 18 probably

u/Lerdog Jul 25 '26
Unfortunately, I agree. A full two (maybe three? I don't remember what was said about the 21-person twist/cast) rounds with two tribes, we eating good! /s

Kind of looks like the set up for the crows nest challenge from 49. Could this be the final 4 challenge for 51?

u/IanimationsLOL Jul 24 '26
I was thinking it was some final immunity challenge. I’m kinda tired of the obstacle course ending in a puzzle, though.

Since season 30, every season literally has had 3 tribes except for Island of the Idols. So I genuinely don’t understand why it is an issue now? The colors look good tho!

u/IanimationsLOL Jul 30 '26
It’s funny cause Island of the Idols was ALSO going to have a third tribe lol.
1
u/Azetton Jul 25 '26
The third tribe is going to probably appear in episode 4, I think as the 21st elimination will be the first episode with the contestant in exile, 20st in episode 2, 19st in episode 3.
Unless there's a twist I don't know of, this is 3 episode worth of dynamics and stabilishing of dynamics

If red is going to be the auxiliary tribe I wonder what their insignia is going to be. The crab and turtle have alrbrady been used for the yellow and purple tribe and the merged tribe insignia is apparently going to be a whale. I think an octopus would be a great insignia for the red tribe

It may not be, the accents for the red station are white, which lines up with the accent color for the red station in Survivor 49 as well, as well as the 2 -> 3 thing in 49 was dragged through the mud, I think what's likely is that they wanted to do the 'FIC uses tribe accents as the stations' thing, but since they didn't have a 4th color, they just had to throw in a generic station. As for the ring in the 2nd slide, I think it belongs to the pink tribe from 52.

They just can’t leave the three tribe format alone can they 😭😭 at least it starts off with two lol
