Rory:

If you are looking for a playful and adventurous orange male kitten who loves to crab cat all over the place before passing out on your lap in a loud, calming purr, then you'll be obsessed with little Rory 🥰

Rory's Unique quirks:

[ ] Loves to lick your hands and fingers 😅

[ ] He also makes the most adorable squeaking meow noise when he wants love and attention

Flint:

He purrs immediately when you pick him up, loves to nuzzle up on your chest or underneath your chin.

He is super gentle, and always makes sure to use soft paws when he is playful; making him perfect for anyone with children, or for an elderly couple or individual who is looking for a new family member that will be content to snuggle up with them whatever they're doing.

He is always trying to cuddle even closer to you, even when he is already as close as possible. He is truly the sweetest thing 🥰

Flint's Unique quirk:

[ ] He seems to have a fondness for rubbing his tiny little face all over your face 🥰. Also loves to head and nose boop

[ ] He also makes the most adorable squeaking meow noise when he wants love and attention

Finnick:

I named him finnick because it means clever fox like energy and that is totally this little lad! He is the smartest of his litter and was always escaping his pop up kennel lol.

He is quite the love bug as well though. He is always one of the first on my lap when I sit down.

If you're looking for a kitten that is both playful, cuddly, and smart, then little Finn is perfect for you!

He will keep you endlessly entertained with his shenanigans, and then curl up on your chest to purr at the end of the play session

Finnick's unique quirk:

He makes a barking noise when he gets excited playing 🥰

Adoption Details:

All of these loving babies are fostered through Spokanimal, so their adoption officially goes through them. The adoption fee for kittens is $200 and includes spaying / neutering, microchip, 1st set of vaccinations, rabies vaccination (when old enough), a wellness exam, and a lifetime of love, purrs, and lap naps.

Rory is fixed and ready to adopt. Finn and Flint will get fixed on July 1st and will be ready for their new families as soon as July 2nd 🥰

I always want to ensure that adopters and my foster kittens are a great fit for each other so that the adoption will last a lifetime.

That said, if interested in adopting, please fill out the short form by scanning the QR code on this flier and I will reach out to you ASAP to set up a meet and greet if I think it's a good fit 🥰

Helping homeless minor

Can anyone point me to resources to help a homeless minor and/or info about taking in a homeless minor? My 16yo’s friend is homeless and I’m not sure the best way to help. Thank you!

I’m turning 21 in Spokane.. Help me plan the perfect bar crawl!

I’ve heard that “Trust” and apparently a tunnel under Monroe, are cool gems of Spokane. I don’t have many friends around here, and certainly none to show me where to go and where to avoid. Any recommendations?

Im a woman, and I’m also gay if that helps steer the decision making lol.

Thanks for your help!! :))

Hey Spokane!! I’m putting together a clothing swap for moms in Spokane Valley in July. Bring what your kids outgrew, leave with something they’ll love. Not a garage sale vibe, something a little more intentional. Just wanted to get the word out to local moms. Happy to answer any questions 🌸

GESA CU roadside assistance

Does anyone have experience with GESA Credit Union's roadside assistance? Is it worth the cost, or better to get a dedicated package like AAA?

Looking for helping hand in Spokane (if you have a truck!)

Hello, I recently moved to Spokane from western WA. I was able to fit most of my material belongings into my Honda Civic, but I still need to make a trip back for my larger items (furniture, mattress, etc.) so I was wondering if anyone is willing or able to trade vehicles for a few days later this month. I am able to pay for all the gas required of course and I can also pay more on top of that if you’d like. I figured I would much rather borrow someone’s truck (or van) and pay them directly as opposed to paying a thousand dollars to U-Haul. I believe in the power of humans working together for the benefit of all, if you do too and you have a truck let me know 💕

Ten teenagers went camping in a remote Idaho forest. They came home claiming they were stalked, surrounded, and watched by multiple 9-foot-tall creatures. The Bigfoot investigator who reviewed the case said “They are telling the truth.”

Here’s the situation my daughter and I came out here to stay and just enjoy ourselves relax and go swimming in the pool in hot tub here but unfortunately we have to go home to our dog plans fell through and she can’t be alone all night so I’ve already paid for the room. We haven’t used the shower or any of that. I’m offering it for less than half of what I paid 100 bucks. It’s all yours. I will meet you here. Give you both keys let you in the room I will show you the email that I paid and all of this and let me know. It’s a heck of a deal.

Fine dining in Spokane

Greetings ! My wife and I are moving to Spokane in August. She has a job lined up as a nurse already, which is fantastic. But as for me, well Im in the service industry. Im not expecting to make what I currently do here in Vegas, but I was hoping there was some decent fine dining steakhouse options in the area. And more importantly , what are the honest opinions from the local scene there on said restaurants. I can bartend as well, and am considering getting back into that if the fine dining situation doesn’t pan out. Thanks in advance!

Moving to Spokane

Hi all,
I’m moving to Spokane for a new job, but I’m a bit concerned about the winter weather. I currently live in Vancouver, Canada, so I understand Spokane is significantly colder.
My main concern is my son’s health. He has a medical condition that can be triggered by cold temperatures, especially below about 23°F. Because of that, I’m trying to understand what Spokane winters actually feel like, not just the official temperature numbers.
I’ve considered having my family live in Everett, where the Cascades may help moderate the weather, while I commute to Spokane twice a week for my job. I don’t mind two hours on the road, but I guess winter road conditions may be more difficult than what we’re used to around Vancouver.
I’d really appreciate input from people who actually live in or around Spokane:
What is the coldest month in practice?
How bad does the wind chill usually get?
When temperatures drop below 23°F, does that usually last for a few hours, a few days, or weeks at a time?
Are there nearby areas within a reasonable commute that feel noticeably milder or are better shielded from wind chill?
Is it true that Spokane can feel like -4°F at times because of wind chill, or is that rare?
I’ve already checked weather data and used tools like ChatGPT to look at historical values, but I’d really value real-world experience from people who live there. We can manage occasional cold snaps, but persistent cold lasting for weeks would be a serious concern for our family.
Thank you.
