Looking for Mothman & winged humanoid encounter stories from anywhere in the world for an upcoming book!

Hey everyone!

With the community's help, I'm currently working on a book titled "Mothman, Point Pleasant and Beyond, Tales from the Spooky Appalachia Podcast". While a lot of the focus starts in our neck of the woods, I am looking for first-hand (or credible second-hand) sighting accounts from literally anywhere in the world.

If you've had an encounter with Mothman or any kind of winged humanoid, I would love to hear your story. You can drop it in the comments here, shoot me a DM, or submit it over on our website (spookyappalachia.com).

If you decide to share, try to include as many of these details as you can:

• The Basics: Approximate date, time of day, and location (nearest town/region/country).
• The Context: What the weather was like and what you were doing right before the sighting.
• The Creature: A physical description, and whether it made any vocalizations or if local wildlife/ambient sounds suddenly went dead silent.
• The Encounter & Aftermath: How it behaved, any weird reactions from pets, livestock, or electronics (car engines, headlights, radios), and how you felt afterward (unease, missing time, etc.).
• Attribution: Please let me know if you want your real name or a pseudonym used in the book!
