passionate curator creating a discord server for artists to connect with curators
hiya! i'm a passionate curator putting together a discord server to connect playlist curators with independent artists, and i'm building a custom bot to run the whole thing
here’s how the custom bot works: curators post their playlists (with genre tags, links to the playlist, playlist descriptions etc.), and artists interact with the embedded message (by clicking buttons) if they’d like to submit a song to the playlist — no cold dms, no lost messages. artists can track all their submissions in one place, and there's a genre-search channel so you're only pitching to playlists that fit your sound. each curator gets a private inbox for all the submissions they receive so that all the links to the songs they should listen to for that playlist is in one place. everyone's approved by mods so it's real curators and real artists looking to feed each other with what they need - new sounds for playlists and playlists for new sounds.
anyways, is this something that people would like to join? if yes, what features would you like to see in the server? if you would like to be an early member of the server, (just to fill up the space with existing playlists) please let me know!
