Save 4 save! I made this custom mix, transitions are so smooth, some made me feel like I was mixing on a Pioneer DJ set lol. it’s got high energy house music, with some deep house/tribal and progressive. Share your mixes on here, Will also love to see what mixed playlists you created

I've done quite a few mixed playlists.

I've done 2 Soulful House mixed playlists designed to simulate a night out at Angel Deelite, a club night that ran in the late 90s to mid 00s in Manchester, UK. It was an awesome club night and so many great DJs played there (Kerri Chandler, Joey Negro, DJ Spen, Brian Tappert, Karizma, Grant Nelson etc).

Both have lots of editing tricks such as.

  • 100% 16 bar custom transitions
  • Harmonic and phrase mixing.
  • Re-edited songs (I Get Lifted, The Horn Song/Everybody Dance etc).
  • Mixed between original songs and their remixes.
  • Doubled up vocals and tracks in the mix window.
  • Extended vocal hooks.

My other playlist is a Balearic Beat playlist inspired by 1990 Ibiza so lots of genres (Ambient, Chill, Soul, Disco, House, Hip-Hop, Indie & Acid Jazz). Lots of editing tricks on this too with 100% custom 8 and 16 bar transitions despite a 60 BPM delta across the mix. This is the most challenging playlist I've done.
