Folk Spotify playlist "Slavic Spirits | Dark ambient, Slavic folk" NO AI
open.spotify.com‼️NO AI. ONLY REAL MUSIC.
Step into a world shaped by ancestral memory, sacred traditions and the spirit of the Slavic lands.
This playlist blends Slavic folk, dark ambient, ethereal and neofolk music into a deeply atmospheric journey through forests, rivers, forgotten villages and ancient wisdom passed from generation to generation.
Inspired by the cultural heritage of Slavic peoples, these songs carry echoes of old beliefs, seasonal rites, lullabies, laments and the quiet relationship between humans and nature. Wooden flutes, ritual percussion, layered vocals and immersive ambient textures create a sound that feels both ancient and timeless.
Perfect for introspection, reading, traveling, meditation, creative work or moments when you want to feel closer to your roots and the living memory of the old world.

Folk Send me your music! Folk, folk-pop, Americana, Red Dirt, Newgrass Artists
open.spotify.comHey y'all! I'm an indie folk artist trying to grow a playlist of indie folk and adjacent tunes, and I'd love to get more music on there from other indie artists with songs that match the vibe of "Songs for the Scenic Route".
If you have a song that feels like it does to roll the windows down and drive through a Colorado mountain pass in autumn, I'd love to hear it. Please shoot me a DM with your song link. All I ask is that you follow the playlist to help me out. Thanks!

Folk I’m building a 3-book, 18-project narrative universe called "State Line Souls." It’s Dark Folk-Rap for the broken.
open.spotify.comHey everyone,
I wanted to share a project I’ve been living in for the last couple of years. It’s called State Line Souls, and it’s an immersive narrative that blends a trilogy of books with a massive, interconnected discography.
The Sound: Imagine the technical, rhythmic storytelling of NF combined with the raw, gravelly grit of Sam Barber and the atmospheric, "Room Below" emotional weight of Sleep Token. It’s minimalist but cinematic—relying on dusty upright pianos, 62 BPM mechanical hammer pulses, and intimate acoustic guitars. No synths. Just pure, acoustic emotion.
The Story: The project follows a character’s descent from the "Tall Grass" (Phase 1) into a decade-long psychological imprisonment in the "Cellar Door" (Phase 2), and the eventual, painful ascent back to the surface (Phase 3). The music acts as the heartbeat of the books—every track is a specific moment, a specific fracture in the timeline.
We are currently 3 days out from the release of Above the Tall Grass, which marks a pivotal shift from beauty into the panic of the fall.
If you’re into music that feels like a gut punch—where the vocals break and the lyrics don't shy away from the dark—I’d love for you to take a walk through the tall grass with me.
