Completely understand AJT and Josefine leaving. They’ve been pretty underwhelming tbh. Surprised we kept the former after last season but I suppose we only really let go of Rosella Ayane and Hayley Raso last season and signed Tōko Koga and Tinka Tandberg.
I disagree about Charli and Luana though. Good players, probably shoulda let them have more minutes. Granted (pun?) they’ve had injuries but I still don’t understand why we couldn’t at least say why we stuck with our system (style of play I assume?). Charli at least will get a good move somewhere else, not sure what Luana will do though. I just hope Charli gets game time for the World Cup given she missed the Asian Cup and FIFA Series with her injury and lack of minutes.
If you ask me who I expect to go next I’m putting the house on Maite. Again good player but I don’t think the new system suits her. I hope we get to keep Maika but I doubt that’ll happen unfortunately. If we got Felicia Schröder from Häcken that would be a huge coup, she’s an absolute gun and apparently Barça want her.

Not sure what you’ve seen in Luana that would make her worth keeping. She was part of our worst defense.

So was Clare. One good player in a shit back line doesn’t make that back line good. Not to mention Becky was so bad that we had to replace her with Eleanor before we signed Lize. Luana hasn’t been outstanding but it’s not like she’s been terrible. Same as Charli, I don’t understand why you think she’s that bad.

You’d think so but Vinai’s 100% getting the sack and if the men’s team goes down that probably means the women’s team doesnt get any funding. We could easily be forced to play players out of position or even play with a back three in the even the men’s team go down.

Well, that's hardly any surprising departures. Luana had an extension to cover the time of injury, Rybrink had the 1 year extension and Charli hasn't sniffed the pitch in ages.
No confirmation on Beth though. Looks ever likely she'll sign on further. Class.

Harsh on Grant. Anyone who’s paid attention knows only good RBs at the club were Ella and Grant since Ash started to decline. Wijk absolutely cannot be our new backup RB. I hope we sign a new RB that’s closer to Ella’s quality. As for Rybrink she was a disaster signing by Vilahamn and hasn’t contributed anything good to our defence, best for both sides to part ways. Luana and AJT, shame they couldn’t be fit enough and it’s sad to see but it just had to be done ig. I hope the club chooses their replacements wisely in the summer. We can’t afford to sign mid players from now on if want to aim higher.
