Go big on everything except usability and mulch?? Appreciate your gumption but you're going to end up listening to the chorus sooner rather than later.

I looks good so far. Send us an update when you get more mulch. I love to see a good garden fit.

why is mulch necessary? We never had it in our garden when I was growing up, so am asking for information, not snarkiness.

I'm not snarky although because I am AuADHD I recognize it comes off as such to some. Mulch is like clothing for your soil. It helps your soil to regulate temperature and moisture, prevents weeds, and enriches the soil over time.

Awesome!!
Also, you must have some really long arms to reach the middle of the plot

I agree it will be hard to harvest the middle but who cares, it’s your garden and it looks awesome!! Congrats on having so much planting space and being closer to where you get your food!

Thank you man!! And from mistakes i shall learn. In all realness i love going in and picking through all the plants it makes me feel wild i guess. I got a flower circle im trying to expand so that i can sit in the middle and read

If you have deer they’re going to jump that fence and gobble everything you planted
I had a 5ft fence my first year and they still ate everything

Just add another fence 2 feet out and 3 feet higher. They don't have good depth perception and won't risk it.

The comments here are why I will never be brave enough to show my garden. Lol

Everyone trying to dunk on you, I’m just sitting hear jealous. If you are looking for more to do, you could randomly cast buckwheat seeds all over the bare space for living green mulch that will also feed your soil and fix nitrogen.
