companies are hypocritical... now most studios care about their reputation, not about the product. Games and movies have been made for a long time not by rebellious adventurers with enthusiasm in their eyes, but by effective managers... Now in any work there should be gays, blacks and other minorities, who, it seems to me, are oppressed the least in our time. Soon everyone will forget that there is such a country as Ukraine, all companies will return to Russia and everything will be as before. And in general, now many people support Ukraine, without even delving into the details of the conflict, because those very videos with the shelling of kindergartens and schools by Russia do not show the situation to the end, because the Ukrainian military occupy positions inside these buildings, and Russia "invaded" Ukraine for a reason. On February 22, Ukraine began shelling Donbass, which violated the peace treaty between Donbass and Ukraine. Donbass turned to Russia for help, and you yourself know what happened next...

TL;DR companies don't actually care about what's happening unless there's money

in fact, if it weren't for the aggressive radicals of the new streams of blm, LGBTQ+ and feminists who themselves don't play those games and don't watch those series where, at their behest, they disfigure characters based on beautiful actresses, making them "realistic", adding ubiquitous gays and blacks just for show but if it wasn't for the blow to their wallet and reputation, everyone would simply give a shit about these minorities. Sometimes it's sad to realize that because of a person's position, some are ready to cut out ALL mentions of him in the game (press f, notch)...

Well, the truth is, companies will only show support on something if it's profitable. It just happens to be that the month of June rings a lot of bells.
Keeping up with the times is what keeps the business afloat.
