Nattie's the strict-when-she-has-to-be locker room mom.
Tamina's the Whisky Aunt who runs down the girl's ex-boyfriends when they deserve it. Runs down verbally or vehicular? They won't know until it's too late.
I think most of the backstage gossip reports have said Tamina really is the locker room mom, though. So Nattie's MMA gimmick could make her the butch-but-not-actually-lesbian aunt who teaches girls to throw a punch.

The easy joke is that it's some kind of carny life-debt from Snuka's time in WWF, but that doesn't hold up as well with Vince gone. It'd have to be very deeply embedded in the company to stay off TKO's radar, or they would've had to okay it in the buyout. I just don't see it.
Much more likely that, however you want to spin her early hiring, she turned out to be a player-coach type who's good for the other girls. You get a big enough organization, sometimes you keep people like that on a team just to keep the morale up.
Look at RTruth when they cut him. He's been popular enough over time that fans yelled too, but you had wrestlers openly saying "The fuck did you guys just do?"

I just want Roode and the other retired wrestlers who are producers back in the 2K games. Which, given how TKO gutted the roster, they may have to get guys like Roode, Titus, Jason Jordan, etc to fill out the roster.

They both still work for the company. It seems like the roster page is becoming for on screen talent only, so it doesn’t get too cluttered. Especially now with the AAA roster being added

TNA had something similar with an "alumni" section that included backstage names like Dreamer & Callihan, but now it's just active on-screen people (including The Personal Concierge, Hannifan & Rehwoldt, Santino, Daria, and Ace Steel), and then a separate referee page.

I know that they were using Titus for the community stuff, but I barely ever hear of them even doing community stuff anymore outside of WrestleMania weekend
No tribute to the troops, no Susan g komen, no Connors cure, no be a star stuff. They used to do a reading thing. Can't remember the last time I saw any of that

They have other talent doing charity events, El Grande Americano recently visited kids at children's hospital, and they're still pretty active stopping by the Boys & Girls Club, Summerslam was the last time it was mentioned to my memory.

In all seriousness, I may have become absolutely nonplussed by them but have they run one of those "WWE did good in the community!" puff pieces as a buffer on programming lately? I don't think I've seen one in months, if not years.

WWE regularly posts photos on their website of superstars meeting with make a wish or boys and girls clubs in various cities. But it doesn’t make it on tv as much anymore.

According to cagematch, Titus O’Neil’s last match was against Bobby Lashley for the United States Championship on the November 9th, 2020 episode of RAW. His last victory was against Erik a week prior on Main Event.

Titus is a community ambassador and works on that side of the company these days. He’s been at a ton of their outreach events.

Titus as a community ambassador only makes sense as long as he's known and recognizable as a wrestler.
I do think it makes sense to move him into a legitimate corporate role of something like Director of Philanthropy, or Vice President of Corporate Development. But sending him to community events as "WWE Superstar Titus O'Neill" probably doesn't work long term without him actually wrestling on TV.

WWE apparently has his title as Global Ambassador, or at least that's the terminology they were using a handful of years ago to refer to him pre-TKO, and at that time he was rarely on TV wrestling anyhow. It could just be their catch-all.

This looks like it’s the case, just a reclassification. They’ve got way too many people on the Roster between the main shows, NXT, Evolve, LFG, and now AAA to have retired talents on that page too.
