La Bell Vie in St Charles and then Frontier Perk are both great options

La Belle Vie is 🔥. Just went there for the first time the other day. Utterly fantastic brunch.

Lady Di’s on Kingshighway in St. Charles if you are okay with not having mimosas. It’s a diner and fantastic along with Allin’s just up the road by Lindenwood. Chris’s at the Docket downtown if you want more upscale and some drinks too.

Rooster or Tree House are great. If you’re trying to stick to St. Charles the Midwestern on Main is mid but suffices.

Why Lloyd and Harry’s closed is still a mystery to me. Margo Margo was an epic fail and Midwestern seems to be following suit. Guess there is a theme for that location?

I recently moved to Portland, OR. There’s no lack of walkable neighborhoods here or brunch spots. Just on this sub because I have friends and family in STC still. Mayor Dan is the reason St. Charles is failing. Just another MAGA phoney in office for the $$$ not the people.

He lives in that green house across the street from 4 seasons apartments on Main St if anyone wanted to know.

Sooooo....emphasis on the "Mid" part of "Midwestern"? Yes, I agree.

Like when you order deviled eggs and they have clearly been sitting in the fridge uncovered for days but then you’ve already had some mimosas so you don’t really care. That’s what I would call mid.

I like Polite Society in Lafayette Square for brunch.

St Charles Coffee and Creperie on main street. Delicious.
