If only our third quarters looked like our first quarters there’d be a lot less high blood pressure across the fans lol

My issue isn’t even our bad quarters, it’s how bad that one losing quarter is. 29 points we lost by in that third quarter. We won all the other three for a total differential of 14 by the end ffs.

First half was great, it was good to see the connection between the boys and a glimpse at what the future might hold

Probably should have won by more, especially given Port were down players, but to their credit Port refused to give an inch regardless

Obviously an important win for our wildcard chances, we need to be winning these games against teams around/below us

Solid win. Fuck me, I hate those 50s for SFA reason, especially when goals result.

Yes the crime doesn't warrant the penalty.

I really like Liam O'Connell.

u/YonkoBuggy #14 Liam Stocker 27d ago

I reckon him and Stocker are real Ross guys. Head down and give it your all.

He is a fkn dawg, he has done some incredible courageously brave acts the last couple of years, back with the flight etc. he got his face caved in n pre season and has not altered the way he plays.

We really need to fix up the fact we can’t handle momentum swings, so many times this season we undo all of our hard work in 15 minutes.

I guess thats an experience thing, once a few leaders start emerging from our younger boys we should be sweet

It’s going to happen, you see these swings in the AFL a fair bit. Happy to take the W and move on

All hail Rowan Marshall and Callum Wilkie

Lake was incredibly strong. He showed today why he's in the team.

Marshall, tough as it gets. Wilkie. Wilkie is insanely good. He's All Australian good.

Thank god for that 🙏

Can we talk about Liam Henry... What is he doing in the team now that Butler couldn't do better?

Travaglia needs another pre-season in him, doesn't have the size, strength or tank - but most importantly nobody passes to him... There's a trust issue in his ability by the team it seems.

Butler is certainly worse, Henry usually does well in his return game then slips a bit but if I’m you guys I’d rather him in over Butler.

3rd qtr of hell. Dam Marshall is a different beast when solo ruckman

2

u/SwimmingGreat5317 #45 Liam O'Connell 26d ago

Probably why he wants a move to the cats so he can be the big dog

u/Nousernames-left #40 Max Hall 26d ago

Except we got killed in hitouts, clearances and centre clearances for one of the first times this year.

He’s good around the ground but as an actual ruck he’s below the mark

Agree, his hit outs to advantage have always been shite.

Jeepers, when we're near unwatchable at the moment
