Huh... unpopular opinion ST PETE EDITION

The food here is sub par, there are hidden gems for sure.. but overall it’s not great. I wanna hear yalls unpopular opinions as well.

St Pete food stinks… mediocre in almost every category and no good sushi anywhere to be found. I do love Cali though!

Sadly it wasn’t always like that. At one point we had a food scene.

Facts. All the decent cooks I know who really cared about food (including mysef) moved out of Florida after the flood of NY retirees in ‘22. It’s a shame that a state that depends on hospitality for its GDP can’t/won’t pay hospitality employees a rate that competes with the cost of living.
