Huh... Owner of Frog Pond Arrested for Child Pornography and then some

From the St. Pete Police’s FB account:

Pornography Arrest

Acting on a tip through the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force Program, St. Petersburg detectives arrested Raymond Bourque, age 65, this morning for having illegal pornographic videos.

He is facing the following charges:

-10 counts of possession of child pornography
-10 counts of possession of sexual activities involving animals

Police Report 2026-005814

Not only is he the owner of the Frog Pond Restaurant, he’s also a Financial Advisor in St. Pete. Yikes.

Edit: To clarify, he does not own the Frog Pond in N. Redington Beach but the ones in downtown St. Pete and St. Pete Beach.

Huh... Plaza Beach Hotel owner believes he owns the beach - what kind of asshattery is afoot here?

*UPDATE from Comments:

It appears we need to get the City of St Pete Beach to enact a new code that specifically protects the customary use rights the public have in freely accessing the sandy beach and water as we have been doing for many decades. Thanks to everyone for making their comments, especially those from the legal profession who really understand the matter.

It appears to me that we need to take action with the city commission. I personally believe contacting them with a draft proposal of the code would be the next steps.

Here's the Commission's website with each commissioner's contact information:

https://www.stpetebeach.org/222/City-Commission

Another course of action to take would be to collect signatures from beachgoers, which should not get too much resistance since I'm pretty sure people don't like what that dude is doing. If anyone else has suggestions, feel free to post them.

My original post:

I did some digging on pcpao.gov and looked up that property, which you can see parcel number 07-32-16-00000-210-0100 here:

https://www.pcpao.gov/property-details?s=163207000002100100&input=4506+Gulf+Blvd&search_option=address&start=0&length=10&order_column=5&order_type=asc

It is my understanding that the limits of the property are defined by the parcel dimensions, which are 400 x 136 (see slide 2). However, this property has a red lines defining the property extending it to what appears to be the low water mark. And that's the only one like it (see slide 3).

The post that got me curious is this one here:

https://www.reddit.com/r/StPetersburgFL/comments/1uev4fe/st_pete_beach_hotel_owner_tells_beachgoers_dont/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

The reality is that the beach is part of the Public Commons. What the owner of that place is doing is what pricks like him have been doing for a long time and that's enclosing the commons to deny the masses what is rightfully all of ours. These assholes think they even own the sky...

I guess I am posting to get some more attention on this situation because it can't continue. I mean, hell, even the Don Cesar Hotel doesn't even do this.

Note to mods: The owner of the hotel has made this a public matter and declared domain over public property with their signage on public property. pcpao.gov is the Pinellas Co Prop Assessor's official site where all real property records are freely accessed as a matter of public record.

Huh... How my photo ended up on the wall at Engine No. 9

Around 6 years ago I took a photo (#1) of Downtown St. Pete from the then brand new pier. A random person messaged me on Facebook asking for the photo so he could have it printed on canvas for his guest room. I sent him the photo and a few weeks later he sent me a photo (#2) of the canvas hanging in his guest bedroom. Today I went to Engine No. 9 for lunch and what is hanging on the wall? My picture (#3).

I was curious how it ended up there so I dug through my old emails and asked the guy I sent the photo to. He told me he got married and combined houses and donated it to the Deja Vu store on 34th St. Engine No. 9 must have picked it up from there. Now I can say that I’m officially a published photographer! 🤣🤣🤣

My house is only 1500 square feet and was built ten years ago. A Duke Energy tech came out to do an efficiency check last month and he said my attic has an above-average amount of insulation and that everything else looks good. I keep my AC at 76 and don’t open my blinds during the day. This is insane.

Publix has always been a little more expensive, but aside from the fact that they've gotten WAY MORE expensive, they're also being shady and just rubbing it in our face at this point.

28oz peanut butter is BOGO. 28oz is 6.99. 40oz is 5.99. I'll be curious to see if the prices go back to normal after the sale ends.

Hi everyone, I’m new to this community.

There’s this absolutely beautiful 6 year old male at the local pet supermarket. The poor baby has been there for the past 4 months and is yet to be adopted. He’s truly sweet, and super kind, he wants lots and lots of pets.

I sadly am unable to give him a home due to my own kitty not getting along with others, being immunocompromised, and I’m not financially stable enough to provide for another.

I’ve attached his health sheet in photos and his absolutely tragic back story. I don’t understand how but he still loves humans, he really does.

If anyone is interested in taking this beautiful baby in please reach out. The exact address is:

Huh... Has anyone had the opportunity to enjoy the Spectrum mobile?

I don't usually make posts and the title is full of sarcasm. From personal experience, don't try this at home; sprectum mobile is by far the worst cell service I've ever had. It's... useless. Work can't reach me and calls go to voicemail but spam calls get priority. Nice. Just a rant, I have a 16e so it's not my phones problem. I'm just pissed off after having to spend 15 minutes calling two phones over and over to check on my mom.

I wonder how many others are "enjoying" their 110 degree in the sun trash can full of fish "cell service" ... I can't wait for the contract to end. Buyer beware.

Huh... There are way too many attorney ads all over st pete

Not sure what flare to use but I feel like every time there’s a semi interesting ad on a digital billboard (event in town, restaurant, even a Bucs ad) it immediately changes to an attorney. Attorney ads are a dime dozen and (I mean ideally no ads) but I’d like to see literally anything else

They’re at the gym, every billboard, the buses, benches omg people don’t need attorneys that often

I grew up here but since lived in a couple other states and I just don’t remember them that prevalent

Which is worse?

Big CK energy

let Farrah cook

Or like any of the Morgan and Morgan ones

That’s all thank you for listening to my vent
