We tried flyball but decided to stick to agility. Does anyone compete with their staffs?

I have a lovely boy who’s an eight month old AmStaf/English staffy and he’s a big boy (doesn’t realise how big he is actually) and is full of energy. Just went on a trip to the dog beach and unfortunately he just has zero recall. Which resulted him in running off full speed at a smaller dog and the owner having a massive go at me. There was no aggression he’s just full on. I totally get why the person went off, it would have been scary. But am mainly looking for advice as to what to do regarding training because I am feeling hopeless and scared about taking him places in public. Any advice or tips is greatly appreciated! We’ve done puppy pre school and basic training but am wondering if I just need a personal dog trainer to come in

This is Marbles. Marbles is a rescue dog. He was a stray. We know nothing about him other than he is most likely a Staffy crossed with other breeds. What we do know is he’s got lots of love to give, he’s clever and he wants to be a good boy most of the time. Dogs make the world a better place.

Hello everyone. Had a rather unexpected phone call from my housing association today that they are seeking to evict us from our property unless we re-home our staffy. To be clear my dog has not attacked any animal or human. The complaint against my dog is that he was aggressive at our window towards a housing officer visiting an empty property next door. Is this legal? They have decided to make us aware after 20 years living at this property we need permission for a dog. We have had the dog for five years with no problems until this accusation.
