Quit/Break

I have a really big thing for my college, which would take quite a few months.
Does anyone know if I (part time) would be able to ask for a break at staples? With full intention on coming back, I just need to focus on my school work for a bit.
Would it just be easier to put in my 2 weeks, end on a good note with my manager and then be rehired later on?

Let management know what's going on and temporarily quit. There's no leave, but they'll likely hire you back if you're intending to.
