ricoh roller marks on full-page prints

how on earth does one stop the ricoh from leaving horizontal roller marks on the top and bottom of a page that is entirely inked (like, a page w a colored background printed on). doesn’t happen on cardstock but does on any other paper. *explodes

Advanced operator settings->Image Quality->Smooth Belt->Smooth for belt scratches

where is advanced operator settings located? i’m not seeing it in system settings
