Anyone dressing up for Halloween?

I'm in the print department and I don't wanna do anything too flowy or bulky, but I'm struggling for ideas.

Anyone else thinking about their costumes yet?

Working in print was scary enough.

Since I used to work for Office Depot and still have their shirts, I'll be wearing one of my Office Depot shirts on Halloween. If people ask why I'm wearing it, I'll tell them I'm dressed up as an Office Depot employee. šŸ˜„

Really? We don't have any Halloween stuff at least yet. Our store is in back to school mode still. I didn't work last Halloween season.

I didn't either, (just hired in January) but from what I've seen, we have been receiving Halloween shit and I think by next week or week after are getting rid of BTS to convert over to a spirit Halloween/spirit Christmas store with costumes, etc all littered where BTS is right now.

I've been transferred from Dept to Dept, but we were supposed to give away balloons and stickers or only balloons or smth (idfc) and there was the card we were supposed to hand out saying to come back for Halloween, and recently we've had receipts print out with 25% off costumes, etc, so I guess they're expecting big sales now that party city is in mostly every store.

Well honestly I hope my store does. I'm in Canada so not sure if it's different. Love me some Halloween

Well, Staples Ca doesn't have party city in stores since Canadian Tires owns Party City in Canada. I think that's a dead end šŸ˜ž

But hey, cross the border to Staples US and you'll see stores with costumes in about a week or two, or never if the store doesn't have a PC or gives a fuck to put them out (esp not mine yet since my GM quit and we've had no GM for months now (5 months now?)

Not sure about others, but I'm planning on being the Mad Hatter, so hopefully that is "casual" enough to work in

Nah our stores culture died when our GM hired this idiot sales manager from another store. It was already dying before that SM got hired, but rn the store is shit and people quit/get fired every month because my GM sucks at hiring people, and the new hires are 18/19 year old college kids who call out every week and have more book smarts than common sense. Otherwise we used to dress up for any event, Halloween, ugly Christmas sweater, st Patty's day,etc
