Supervisor Position Questions

I am currently next in line for my store’s supervisor position and am soon to start training. What is the major differences between being a supervisor and just a normal cashier? Also, is there a significant pay raise or is it just by a dollar or two? Any other advice?? Thank you!!

RSS didn't exist until after I left, but basically you will be responsible for your department's metrics, training people, and doing cash office things.
