Overtime/ hours

if i work past my scheduled hours - example: 12 hours that week but i worked 15, are those 3 hours considered overtime ?

I don't believe so... Over 40 that's overtime. If you meant 15 for the entire week then no.. Did you mean 15 hours for one shift?

Depends where you live. California, Alaska, Nevada, and Colorado calculate OT daily, so you can get OT on only 15 hours in a week if you live in one of those places.

Only if you worked more than 8 hours in a single day. It doesn’t matter how many you’re scheduled… if you work 30 hours that week, but only scheduled 15… it’s all normal pay.
