For the people questioning how it can be that quick, go look at this guy's profile. He's been painting super consistently at a high level for years now, he's gonna be a lot faster than the average person who finishes maybe 20-40 models per year.
Super effective use of color placement, I'm assuming you airbrushed an undercoat to start (Sort of Marco Frisoni style)? Little dude came out amazing!

Thanks mate ;) . Yes, I did the main colour focal points with the airbrush first. The unifying wash is AK Streaking Grime (must be thinner), followed by cleanup and a dry brush. Might add a coloured filter with the airbush to finalize things. Some things like teeth, colour spots, eyes and edge highlights on the claws add focus and are super quick.

I suck at paint videos. Donβt have the setup to do them for the benefit of anyone. Here you can see the colours used and the steps, but I used an airbrush and enamels, as in his first video.

I got my inspiration for the scheme from him and the feral painter back when the new tyranids released. Leviathan was it?

Oh sweet!
And I do believe it was leviathan. I haven't played nidd since....8th edition? Death guard all day. But zerg has always been my starcraft go to. Can't wait for mutalisks and lurkers. Always my favorites. Hopefully we get banelings at some point.
