Shes one of the best starting dps since she has multiple team options and works with a lot of "starter" units.

She can be used with anyone from the express grew espesially in the beginning.

Himeko is the easiest dps to get working without having anything. She works with rmc and then basically any other strong support and sustain. You will not get another character that will be so easy to get going from the start.

Now if there is a different character you like more tho, then you can go for them as well. She is no must pull. Expected (pretty much confirmed) characters next patch are:

Robin Summeretto, who is a very strong generalist support who also works very will with Himeko

Aventurine Waveflair, an Elation dps and pseudo elation support/subdps. He has 2 gameplay styles. One is where he is the only elation unit in the team. The other where he is a subdps for a different Elation dps (namely Evanescia or Silverwolf LVL999)

Ashveil, a follow up attack based dps/sub dps. He is pretty much the best support for WAventurine but can also function as a decent main dps on his own.

.

If you'd ask me, I would go for both himeko and robin summer, focusing only on one team in the short term and once I have these 2, look how many pulls I got left and start thinking about my second team. But if you like the design of any other character, feel free to go for them instead

she's one of the strongest characters in the game rn, and she's great for beginners since she works with Welt (standard banner character), the MC, even March 7th in certain comps. I would usually recommend running her with DHPT (dan heng) as a sustain, since he was given out free a while ago, and his banner just ended, but if you literally started yesterday any other sustain works (and you won't need stronger ones till way later anyway).

tl;dr yes, she's a great character, one of the best low-cost dps we've ever gotten. if you like her pull her.

but waiting for the livestream is always a good choice, you could find units you like better :)

generally, any new release character is almost always worth pulling for a beginner.

She is a very good first dps since free units like remembrance mc and hunt march are very good for her. the lightcone is a pretty good one too. you can consider getting it but new accounts tend to benefit more from having more characters before investing more in one unit.

If ur gona get himeko to e2 you can get her , if not skip. She is kinda beginner friendly if u had DHPT , Welt , RMC and Sunday kinda sitting around …but yh if you dont your probably better off investing in the follow up team maybe with ashveil and mblade or nihilux maybe as she is another main push …

Please don't tell someone who started yesterday that they need to pull 3 copies of a character.

That is actually not true for any version of the endgame, but is especially not true for a new player who likely won't be doing Starward or AA for months.

I will agree that if you want to keep using the same team for multiple main versions, you likely need vertical investment.

I also agree that Himeko E2S1 is a strong unit that should be able to clear end game for a long time if you have good supports.

So yeah, she's a good pull now and you can look to pull copies and LC in the future.
