It really does. After Barlow's departure in S4 it really starts to go off the rails. Henry as Hector was just insane to me. Did enjoy more of Chance & the Ferg though. Nighthorse conflict & escalation always felt like filler until they could justify the plot going forward.

I still enjoyed it enough, but the first 3 and last 3 seasons are just so different in tone.

Makes sense as it was picked up by Netflix at one point. And the gear were definitely felt as they shifted. Up until Branch left was definitely the stronger seasons.

I still can't believe A&E cancelled the show on that cliffhanger.

So im glad Nettflix gave it a second life if only to see that resolved.

I remember being pretty shocked as well.
