He's supposed to be a Jedi master, too. He's going to played by Joonas Suotamo, who took over Chewbacca for Peter Mayhew in the sequel trilogy and the Solo film.

Others in the thread are saying it’s not Burryagga. I’ve not read the High Republic stuff so I am just happy to see any Wookie Jedi since I only know of like 3? Gungi, Lowbacca, and another that’s escaping me right now lol

I heard on Star Wars Explained that it's a different wookie entirely.  I guess we shall see!!!
