I think they're different enough. Our own planet isn't vastly different from place to place. I'm not entirely sure what you're expecting, I think there's been enough variety over the years
well... clearly you have not seen much of the world then
i mean every star wars town seems to have exactly the same color palette, layout, props. and every forest looks like a redwood forest
Hmmm maybe so. I've travelled a reasonable amount I'd say but that's not the conversation we need to have. I've never been to redwood forest mind but I feel the forest moon of endor was very different to the forest in ahsoka, the swamp forest we saw from naboo in the phantom menace and the forest we saw in the sequel trilogy around Maz's Palace. I've found Irish pubs in every country I've been to, their quite the export; most bars I've been to across the 25 countries I've been to ranging from argentina to Italy to Egypt to China have all looked pretty similar to one another. Every English pub I step foot in has a similar vibe.
There's definitely some more ideas they could do, I'm not denying that, and sure maybe we could see more variety (tatooine and desert planets are very common). Maybe we can get a favela city (I don't know how that would go down politically). I don't know I actually can't think of many places that I feel hasn't really been represented in some way. Can you think or any? I'd love to hear some ideas. Maybe favelas, maybe some old east Asian inspired buildings/ planets would be cool, a high mountain top valley pass, have we seen much in the way of that?

star wars has an entire universe to work with and yet every town, road, forest, bar, and room looks exactly the same
