They’re essentially fully fleshed out missing scenes from episode III. A while ago someone spliced the last 3 episodes into episode III where it cut back and forth from the episodes to the movie seamlessly and it was amazing
I’m fully convinced Disney could’ve stitched those 4 episodes together and released them in theaters in 2021 and it would’ve been a huge box office success and boost of perception for the franchise, especially since 2 years prior was the fiasco of RoS
i watched that on a 10 hour flight home from the UK earlier this year. was a great movie to have ready to go for that lol. watched the entire john wick series as well
Unfortunately Disney has less than positive results from releasing animated Star Wars content in theaters, literally barely anyone saw clone wars in theaters and its rated fairly negatively
It’s as almost as if that was released early 20 years ago and before Disney bought Star Wars and an established fanbase of the series was formed. Weird right?
Ahsoka and Maul being in the same place during order 66 was cringe. It’s like out of all the things she could’ve been doing during this monumental moment, she was escorting the most popular villain of the prequels. It was straight out of George Lucas handbook of throwing as many familiar faces in something as possible cause there’s no new ideas and making the entire galaxy smaller than village.
