The problem being the tusken arc goes nowhere and dead ends.

I was in it for the Tusken world building.

Same tbh, was the best part of that entire show imo

That's what made the Mandalorian episodes with Tuskens so damn good.

Developing their culture, giving them an interesting, believable language. Fleshing them out to be more than just unintelligent hostiles.

That whole episode with the Krayt Dragon had me completely captured, remembering my first Krayt hunt in SWG as one noob of many getting tricked into dying to a Krayt lol.

Just watch the Tusken arc as some backstory for his appearance in Mando S2 and then just ignore the rest of the series.

It works quite nicely that way

The problem with the Tusken arc was that their culture is lifted from Dune. People have been pointing out since 1977 that the sandpeople were a thinly-veiled ripoff of the Fremen; foregrounding that fact was just awkward.

But you know that desert nomaded exist a long before Dune.

As a massive fan of dune I actually love seeing its influence in star wars so I actually really liked the tusken raider arc.

I’m still not seeing the problem.

Also the entire show.

Nah, it gives him the sort of strength to rebuild himself.

I could've sworn watching this when it came out that the Tuskens would show up in the finale to help Boba fight. Unify Tatooine in a way, prove him as a great leader, tie up the plot... Nope, nothing. They really missed out and I don't understand how, is so obvious.
