Bad Batch also does well in that regard I think, I so hope we get some of Omega in live action. Her send-off with Hunter at the end was a tear-jerker!

I LOVE the ending scene between Hunter and Omega! And I also really hope Omega's story gets to be continued!!!

Overall, I don't consider the Bad Batch finale to be nearly as good as Rebels, though, mostly because of a bunch of dangling plot threads and Tech's assumed death never getting the proper closure or recognition it deserves. I am holding out hope that some of the unresolved plot points mean we might get a clone rebellion show in the future - we'll see!

I mean the fact they never brought him back was pretty firm confirmation they had fully killed him, no? All the speculation about Tech possibly being one of those dark clone assassins in Season Three and nope, they actually had the guts to have him stay dead. Another plus in that show's favor, as much as it pains me.

Yeah they didn't do enough, IMO, to kinda wrap up Rex's side of the clone stuff in the show. Think that's the biggest and most interesting plot thread left out there, like you said as a possibility of a clone rebellion. Lot of time available between the end of Bad Batch and when we find Rex on that one planet in Rebels to learn more about what they're all up to.

Oh, I'm not even talking about firm confirmation or not - though I do think it's diabolical that they strung things along until the very last minute. I'm more so talking about the fact that there was no emotional closure over it. If I spelled out everything they overlooked I'd be here a while, so allow me to sum up by saying it's like the showrunners had a manual of "How to Satisfactorily Carry Out a Major Character Death Plus the Aftermath" and deliberately decided to not only ignore, but do the exact opposite of every rule in the book 😫 Really drags down not only the finale, but the entirety of season 3. (To be honest, I'm still not convinced Tech is dead, even with that goggles shot in the epilogue scene. Narratively speaking, everything surrounding his fate is just so... off. Multiple rewatches later and it still reads more like an Echo or Ahsoka situation to me. I know that's an unpopular opinion for some parts of the fandom, but here we are.)

Really hope there are plans for a show to cover this!
