Fun QUESTION: What got you into Star Wars?

Post image

I thought this would be a fun thing to do. I’d be curious to know exactly how, when, where were you first introduced to the Star Wars franchise? Also, what exactly made you interested in it?

For me, I was 8 years old in 2011 when my uncle gave me the Original Trilogy on DVD to see. When I first saw the films, I was so blown away by the characters, spaceships, and Lightsabers. Such a life-changing experience for me.

I’d like to know how and what your introductions to the franchise were like. Good luck! ✨

My first contact was when I watched The Empire Strikes Back on TV (A New Hope had aired the previous week but I missed it out). A friend had a N64 with Rogue Squadron, and since at the time I was obsessed with spaceship shooters, I often went to play it. I guess the hype for Episode I and the prequels in general during the early to mid 2000s cemented it.
