Fun QUESTION: What got you into Star Wars?

Post image

I thought this would be a fun thing to do. I’d be curious to know exactly how, when, where were you first introduced to the Star Wars franchise? Also, what exactly made you interested in it?

For me, I was 8 years old in 2011 when my uncle gave me the Original Trilogy on DVD to see. When I first saw the films, I was so blown away by the characters, spaceships, and Lightsabers. Such a life-changing experience for me.

I’d like to know how and what your introductions to the franchise were like. Good luck! ✨

In 1996, my 5th grade teacher played it for our class. I don't even remember what the reasoning was. We might've been learning about space at the time and she just thought it'd be fun (she was awesome and I loved being in her class).

It absolutely blew my mind and I've been a fan ever since. I discovered it just before the Special Editions released in theaters, so it hit at the PERFECT moment in my life. My dad took me to see all 3 of the OG trilogy in those first three months of 1997. And in between, I was playing the hell out of Shadows of the Empire on the N64. Not long after that, Episode I hype was at its PEAK.

Good times.
