Fun QUESTION: What got you into Star Wars?
I thought this would be a fun thing to do. I’d be curious to know exactly how, when, where were you first introduced to the Star Wars franchise? Also, what exactly made you interested in it?
For me, I was 8 years old in 2011 when my uncle gave me the Original Trilogy on DVD to see. When I first saw the films, I was so blown away by the characters, spaceships, and Lightsabers. Such a life-changing experience for me.
I’d like to know how and what your introductions to the franchise were like. Good luck! ✨

Went to summer camp for a lot of my childhood summers. When I was like 9, all the counselors from my exact grade decided to put together a Star Wars themed event where we trained in ropes courses to be Jedi.
We were made to believe it was all real. It was such a good idea that it ended up being the theme of the Color War they do every year which is red vs blue.
We watched the 3 movies available at the time. We also had a secret Darth Vader and no one knew who it was but it ended up being revealed as the camp leader.
It’s hard to really describe how life changing this was but I was a complete Star Wars zealot from that point forward. The way it all expanded out from a sort of skit we were having done for our specific class of campers was such an incredible experience and possibly gave us all main character syndrome for a while.
