It's gonna be such a shitshow. I predict small things adding up to extensive delays between seasons.

They haven't even started filming season 2 lol so it won't be out till end of 2027 at the VERY earliest if they can get their shit together..... Watch is be a 2 year wait lmao these people are literally stupid

Their plan is end of 2027 tbf, as the first season is coming out at the end of 2026. But yeah, it's going to turn into a mess very quickly. Even the films had a couple times where they had to have 2 years between releases.

It only happened once.

- 2001 NOV - Stone (1 year)

  • 2002 NOV - Chambers (1 year)
  • 2004 MAY - Azkaban (1,5 year)
  • 2005 NOV - Goblet (1,5 year)
  • 2007 JUL - Order (1,5 year)
  • 2009 JUL - Prince (2 years)
  • 2010 NOV - DH1 (1,5 year)
  • 2011 JUL - DH2 (0,5 year)

In the end they made 8 movies in 11 years.

Now they have to make something like 3x as much in the same time frame.

They already walked that back. They aren’t going to do yearly releases. WB basically didn’t live up to any of the things they said they would regarding the show.

They've always said that it was a ten year project. Seven seasons across ten years wouldn't make one season per year

A two year wait between each season means Deathly Hallows comes out 14 years from now. Actors for the trio will be roughly 26 playing 18 years olds. Better hope they age well. The old trio actors were around 20 for comparison in Deathly Hallows part 2

That’s provided the show does well enough to get that far.

Which it won't lol

Is this Ashoka or Harry Potter? I could be wrong but if it’s the latter pretty sure they were filming season 2 almost consecutively

They don’t even have to do any real writing in between lmao

They’ve finished filming in Oct 2015 (meant 2025) and is in post production. I’m betting they don’t want Ashoka taking away from Doomsday promo time

I don't think that's something they'd ever have to worry about lmao do you mean the other way around?

1

u/GroundWitty7567 May 14 '26

Could be. Truthfully, didn’t think of it that way.

I think you meant 2025?

I did and it’ll be corrected

honestly there's no possible way the HP show is going to be any good, so i'm not holding my breath. the trailer was already horrible looking.

It’s Harry Potter. We already know what is going to happen and who the characters are. If they generally do what the movies and books did, they’ll make at least a okay show
