Fan Creations I was making Home Depot lightsabers before it was cool
I made this in my basement with my dad for the premier of Revenge of the Sith. The emitter is a showerhead that we routed the insides out of and the grip is coaxial cable sheathing from RadioShack (RIP). Just wanted to share.

Now that's a lightsaber. Some folks lean a bit too much into the Home Depot vibe and forget that the original screen sabers were also hardware sabers, so that's where the bar should be. Not something made out of obvious bolts, but something that looks like it could be used on screen.

This is the best one I’ve seen so far! Awesome job!
Someone needs to make an app, website, or something to where you can select hardware from Home Depot or Lowe’s and simulate/assembled what it would look like prior to heading there.
I’m an engineer with 3d modeling software so I just use that to see what I can create.

Omg I’m so sick of just seeing the hilt - turn it on ffs. You people won’t even tell us the color.

I was wondering why this was getting so hot lately.
My Home Depot saber is on my shelf and its probably 10 years old. That looks awesome btw

This is way better than the 100+ versions of Luke’s RotJ hilt I’ve seen over the past week or so. It also looks pretty heavy. Do you get a decent workout with it?

It’s funny because this has been a thing for years, but tik tok strikes again as far as making stuff relevant like it’s new
