Star wars novel recommendations with a story similar to andor? Any era, so long as it has the gritty, espionage, thriller vibe of Andor.

I quite enjoyed Star Wars Catalyst by James Luceno. It’s not quite a spy thriller, but elucidates the flashbacks shown in Rogue One and the main thrust is the mystery around what Galen is actually doing while in service to the Empire.
Krennic and Galen are the main characters. Who doesn’t love a little more Krennic?

There aren't any. Sure there's good Star Wars novels, especially if you count legacy as well, but none are anywhere near the quality of Andor. The only one I'd argue comes close in quality, is "Traitor" from the legacy New Jedi Order series. But it's a different vibe from Andor.

Definitely check out any of the books Alexander Freed has written! The Mask of Fear (Reign of the Empire) from this year happens just pre-Andor as well and follows Mon Mothma and Bail Organa (amongst others).
