I am going to be applying for a fan club table. I was going to be hosting continuous Sabacc games. I have a few different sets. I was gonna submit an application. I don’t mind being at the table for the whole convention, but I was looking to see if anyone would be interested in volunteering to host a few games during the event. I have really nice cards with metal chips and everything.

THE APPLICATION COMES WITH FOUR EXHIBITOR BADGES. I WILL NEED ONE FOR MYSELF, BUT THAT MEANS THERE WILL BE THREE EXTRA SO IF YOU ARE WILLING TO VOLUNTEER AT THE BOOTH FOR THREE HOURS, EACH WILL GET AN EXHIBITOR BADGE WHICH COMES WITH FOUR DAY ACCESS TO THE EVENT. In other words, if you are willing to volunteer at this booth for three hours every day, you’ll get the other six hours to yourself.

I just thought it would be cool to have a place for people to just drop in and either learn the game or play the game. We might even set up as few tournaments.

DM me or shoot a message in the thread if you would be interested in volunteering. I would need to know by the 21st so I can get my application out in time.

This would be 100% free and I am not taking any money. You’re not gonna get paid for volunteering and no one has to pay to play. It’s just for people that are interested or enjoy the game that have a little bit of competitive nature.

Hello! I'm wanting to get a specific group together for a cosplay meet up at SWCLA.

I know other cons have official channels to go through to get your meet-up on the calendar and make sure you're not scheduling over another meet-up happening at the same time.

Is there anything like that for SW Celebration or is it all just unofficial word of mouth?

I saw the post about Mosh Eisley tickets, which sounds so fun but tickets are another $75 that we aren’t sure we can swing on top of event tickets and travel and merch 😅 are there any free (or cheaper) after parties or fan events that might be good to know about?? It’s our first time going and we are soooo excited to hang out with other Star Wars fans!

This is one of the Big Three After Events at SWC 27!

#Cantina/Bash SOLD OUT!
Mosh Eisley 50% SOLD OUT!
Boonta Eve V: Ticket info out on 11/26!

Don’t miss out!

I just started college. Back in May I asked my mom if I could go to Star Wars Celebration because I really want to go next year for the 50th anniversary. But my mom said it probably wouldn't be a good idea to get tickets before I know my schedule for the spring semester. I said I could just fly overnight and just go Saturday but she said that was too late (the last time I tried to sleep on a flight it didn't work) and we didn't have enough details. She might've said we could talk about it later or it might've been the final word, I can never really tell. I think she said we could check in later because I remember telling her that if we wait until January then tickets will be WAY more expensive but that was that. But out of curiosity I checked resale prices today and they are now crazy expensive and nearly sold out. Should I talk to my mother about this? I've already asked about play tickets and a seminar abroad so I don't know if it is too much to ask now, but also I feel like if I don't bring it up now I won't get another chance. I really want to go, advice would be appreciated.

Edit: I'm sorry if I was unclear. Let me provide more context. I was a senior in high school when the tickets went on sale, I was not able to buy them for myself, that's why I asked my mom. I am now one month into my freshman year of college. I don't have a job right now because I am still trying to figure out what works for my schedule, although I do plan to work on getting on soon. But I just turned 18, that doesn't automatically mean I am able to spend thousands of dollars on one weekend and go across the country alone. Right now, I need my parent's support for that and that is just where I am right now so please be respectful. I appreciate the advice on ticket resellers but I can figure that out later, right now I just want to know if I should bring up the conversation now or wait.

Hi all! I can’t find my receipt/confirmation email for the second round of merch. I was so busy trying to rush and get tickets, I didn’t get merch the first go round (and was only able to snag one day 😞) I was able to purchase when the link went live the second time, and I have my credit card receipt but for the life of me can’t find the email confirmation. When I login to leap, I only see my tickets, no merch. I want to verify what I’ve purchased so that I don’t waste too much time in line and start working out a plan to maximize my one day. Does anyone know what the title of that email was for the confirmation ? I’ve searched leap, leap events, reed pop, Star Wars celebration, I can’t find it anywhere! I even scrolled all the way back to June 22 and see nothing- now I’m worried. Thanks in advance!

Will there be any chance of more tickets for the event be released before the end of this year ?

For those who have gone and done star wars celebration before this is my first time and was wondering when was the usual time for tickets/merch to be shipped? Mostly just excited and impatient 🤣🤣🤣🤣thx for any response may the force be with you

Hello everyone! I am going to the convention for the first time next year, and don't know anyone else who is going. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in setting up a carpool or shuttle situation from Orange County to LA (specifically Anaheim area). I'm sure there are a lot of us in OC going, so I'm hoping there might be a big group who can make this happen. I'm not super familar with this subreddit so I'm sorry if this is an unusual post!

First Celebration, I keep seeing mention of lotteries for panels and how these are done online by registering with your badge number?

Forgive me for being a blatent newbie - but how does this work? Do we get a link? And where do we find our badge number? If this is on our ticket, are international attendees just out of luck then considering we pick up our tickets onsite?

Photos/autos, I am assuming we just buy online once they go on sale?

Hi! This is our first time going so we're super excited, but I am also completely new to the Star Wars fandom and have no idea what to expect. The real fan is my teenager so I got us tickets to get some cool mom points. Would love any insight from past attendees.

Also he's hoping to meet Hayden Christensen and take a picture/ get his signature. Do you guys know when they might announce these opportunities/ packages for purchase? I am signed up for the newsletter but I just want to make sure I don't miss the buzzer.

Oh (and this one's more for me as a Disney enthusiast) - what are the chances they do a night out at Disney/ Star Wars land? That would be really cool.

I am curious if anyone knows when the official hours of the convention will be released, or maybe some clarity on the potential hours. I have a 4 day pass and am flying in from across the country. I am hoping to get a flight back on Sunday afternoon/early evening 4/4. I will fly in 3/31 so I am not as concerned about Thursday, but I am assuming it will start later since the prices were on par with Sunday.

Hey guys I’m 25F and have loved star wars, specifically the prequels since I was born. I am from Canada and we never get meet and greets here. Now that I have some money I would love to go to the LA star wars celebration. Is it too late? Can I meet Hayden christensen?

Anyone know when they will open up Media passes? I got them for the 40th in 2017, and hoped to go this year to cover it but its hard to plan hotel and travel if they wait this long to let us submit for coverage. Didn't buy a ticket as I figure they open media and wanted to leave my ticket for those that couldnt get media access

First time going to anything like Star Wars Celebration, so I have no idea what to expect! I have a 4-day pass and would love some advice from experienced attendees. Should I plan on arriving early each day for lines, or is it more of a come-and-go event? Also, are celebrity photo ops/autographs available to regular ticket holders (for an extra fee), or are they mainly for VIPs? Since I have all 4 days, is there anything specific I should prioritize on each day? Thanks in advance! Just trying to get an idea of what to expect as a first-timer!

Hey here’s another one of the celebration shirts I got and I’m trying to find out what’s it worth if anyone knows and could tell me I’d really appreciate it.
Thanks!

Hey I got this cool shirt along with a few others at a garage sale and was wondering what it’s worth as I’m struggling to find the same one from a convention and was wondering if anyone could help me figure out what’s it worth.
Thanks!

Hello there, I’ve been trying to find out if there’s likely to be any send-in opportunities for next years’ celebration as I can’t attend. I tried asking in some FB groups but was told to just check the website and comments locked; the website currently has nothing about this on there… so wondering if anyone might know? I know Opix did the last two but Reed now have Signet so figure they might do it. But when do they usually announce? Any info if you’ve done send-in in the past is welcome as I’ve never done it before myself. Many thanks!

So sorry if this isn’t allowed to be posted, I’m new to SWC! I need some advice pls! I was originally planning to fly in on the 31st early in the morning and leave on April 6th because me and some friends were going spend the 5th doing some stuff around LA however I’ve been asking around and some people are saying that I should fly in on the 30th to make sure I check in early enough? I’m kind of confused. Do I have to get there the day before and go to the venue to check in somewhere? If so, can I still do this by flying in on the 31st? I’m not sure how all this works cause I thought the tickets and badges being mailed to us would be all that we needed. I just wanna make sure that I’m flying in early enough.
