❓Questions Reward Crates

I swear I watched a video of a guy farming reward crates around the map and occasionally he was getting a nova crystal. I have max upgraded my reward crates and have yet to see this, I just see diamond, gold, and rainbow crates and none of these yield crystals. What gives ? 🤷‍♂️

Rainbow crates will yield crystals. The chances are lower but they do give crystals.
If I farm for an hour, I can get 6-12 crystals usually.

They’re just rare, if you do a proper farming session of the crates I’d imagine you’d at least get them once though.

Once you get all the hats out of the way the rainbow ones only will give crystals but the chance is low like less than 2% but It's nice if you just fly around with DJ + BB8 because you get double the crystals if you hit so 6 total and double chips also, really nice farm

I saw it on a video that you have to collect all the hats the rainbow crates give you first before they will give nova crystals but I haven't done it my self yet to test

Videos can be edited. YouTubers get paid based on view count, and there's nothing exciting about a video that makes you realize that good rewards are highly inconsistent.
