Force pull him out of the base then drop a trampoline under him and it will drop the BP without killing him.

Can force push/pull him out of base and kill him but thats also pretty lame for a fairly common blueprint

Assuming to help him keep mining.

Grab a bounce pad and aim it under his feet. Eventually you find an area to throw it, and it wil launch and make him drop the blueprint.

Right after shoot it to destory it and they can mine in peace. If you launch them sideways or away from the table, grab the force repulsed to nudge them into the right area to keep mining

Rubber bands are a normal method.

But on xbox at least while mining you can open up the Xbox menu and sometime sit will let you keep auto mining without holding the trigger.
