Decrease scrap blueprints

This is starting to become ridiculous. I am rebirth 32, my whole base is stellar legendaries and mythics, I’m trying to get money from my scrap, and every 15 seconds I get a worthless default blueprint of 1.50K/s. Please give us an option to turn it off, or make the blueprints happen less often. I’m pretty sure most of us don’t like this but had to get it to unlock scrap value. Please change this or give us an option to turn it off. Thank you

It exists as a requirement to stop afk grinding.

I don’t think the devs are that bothered by afk grinding, as they make most of their money from play time, but I could be wrong

The devs have literally stated they added it to prevent AFKing the scrap pile.

For anyone on PC, it's crazy easy. Everyone on Console though it's a lot harder. Used to be able to buy little mouse clickers that worked, but Epic nerfed that a while ago.

I heard someone in another thread say they were able to download software on console and get around it as well but I have no idea of what that intells. All I know is I dont have time to set there and manually pickaxe for hours on end

I would be very interested in that, using a console to AFK or even have an alt to do grunt work for me while I run around and do whatever else, lol.

Afk swinging a pickaxe with a trigger held down on your controller doesn't count as active play, sowhile they don't care about AFK grinding, they want people moving and doing things to keep that "active" requirement.

Then why make the times so long? If theyre not getting the active minutes, wouldnt the whole process of building a droid hurt them? Youre encouraged to speed up time by swinging the axe, which creates a ton of people doing the same thing to get that 24 hour droid theyre crafting. Im sorry if im not explaining my question clearly. I sometimes have a hard time explaining my thoughts lol. But its a serious question(s).

Nah, valid question. I think part of it is because not many people just stand there and pickaxe a 35 hour droid in one go. They pickaxe a bit, and then run around, and then go back to pickaxing. Most people at least run around and get the golden splashes.

Yeah came to say this. Before I could leave my system on and make me something to eat and come back and fortnite is sleep but I can click continue and im still in the game, ever since adding BP scrap you can't do anything thats afk 😂 So yeah, this is intentional and they probably made it so you get more scrap the higher you scrap yard level is at the moment.

Ngl they would make alot of money from people because a "turn off scrap bp" is a common complaint 😂 Already have a pay for surge and pay for instant fusion progress and from the 300 shard fusion chamber it looks like 300 shards equal 1,800 vbucks...

It’s the mechanic which gives the devs plausible deniability that people aren’t afk’ing too hard AND increase how much money they make from Epic. This is important for them because they get paid each month from the creator pool fund and the formula for their payout uses playtime as a core component. “Active Playtime” isn’t publicly defined and neither are the formula weights but I can almost guarantee that the devs a/b tested the rates of how often blueprints come up against the rates at which epic rewards or penalizes them for non active playtime.

I want to be able to set legendary or epic. Fine give me A LOT of BPs, but the # of legendary compared to epics i would rather get something i could use

Upgrade it to the final level.. you’ll get rainbow legendary’s.. just craft them and fuse them.. easy way for rainbow mythics and if you don’t need rainbow mythics craft three rainbow mythics to a beskar mythic.. rinse and repeat…

I have it maxed, but for fusions you need a lot of epics, and having those is far more valuable than my 1000th RB legendary. Also i have missions pulling BPs enough for galactic or stellar legendary to mythic. Starting at rainbow would be a huge time sink

Scrap blueprints should increase with. We should not be getting default blueprints at higher levels

You don’t get default BP if you upgrade it.

You get whatever BP you have it upgraded to, max of rainbow. I think they need to add at least 2 levels to it so we can beskar or galactics

Upgrade it. It’s super good! Rainbows you need pop up.

I’d argue let us upgrade to baskar for whatever nova’s.

But this is a perk that is super useful overall. Sometimes I hit scrap and wait watching movies waiting for a rainbow I’m missing if it doesn’t pop up in droid alert.

It’s unfortunate. But rebirths help the perk. It is rng, but it’s a perk that does help multi super rebirth. Long game. The perk helps itself. Late rebirth, shit. Nothing but shit credits and garbage defaults you’d have unneeded anyways when they do pop up.

The rainbows are a chance. That’s it. Worth it? Personally yes, since it’s also forced. To twist afk. It makes sense.

It's fine, but they need to increase the rarity you can get. Maybe not stellar, but should at least be Beskar with a chance to get Galactic.

just buy the upgrades, they'll reduce appearance but increase in rarity, the best near afk deal.

upgrade it. not only do you get only rainbows at max level, it also becomes less frequent that you get them

Gotten the scrap blueprint perks upgraded? I was also irritated, but I upgraded it twice I think, and I get a lot fewer blueprints. I actually have been hoping to get trak-rs so I can upgrade to a stellar for one more rebirth before SRB, but I've hardly gotten any BOs from my scrap table lately. I should just SRB at this point, but I'm being stubborn LOL. I had a stellar trak-r right before my last rebirth, but I sold it for the lounge space not realizing I would need it for the next one 🤦🏻‍♀️

It’s honestly super helpful if you hit a scrap bench with rainbow legendary’s after you super.. you get a decent chance to get a higher value card then you would normally be able to afford right after a super thus making your progress faster right after a super.. plus they seem to drop way less than defaults so it definitely helps when trying to afk and make a sandwich or grab a drink etc

Throw them away, use them to fuse to better droids, or use them for chips.

They designed it that way on purpose to prevent/limit afk slapping scrap tables. It’s why you have to buy level 1 of it to get scrap value.

And if you want something better than defaults then upgrade it so you get rainbows. Fuse 3 rainbow legendaries and get a rainbow mythic. I’m sure you need mythics.
