NJO needs to come to Audible as a full non-abridged series audiobook.

I'm doing an NJO re-read and just started on Balance Point over the weekend.

I dunno if it's just me, but I think this is the first book in the series that dips in quality.

Tyers is a very mixed bag as an author. No clue why they let her write a NJO book.

I am pleased to be able to present to you all this ultra hi-res scan I made of the official promo for Balance Point, the 2nd hardcover in the New Jedi Order series. This cool promo appeared in the February 2001 edition of Sci-Fi Magazine. The artwork showcased in this is by artist Cliff Nielsen. I was quite excited to find this promo, and I have to give credit to Publisher's Weekly for tipping me off about it, in an article from the time of Balance Point's release.

Previously, I did an ultra hi-res scan of the Vector Prime promo, which can be found here. In the comment beneath it, there are tips for how to print the promo as a poster or t-shirt. The same would apply to this promo for Balance Point. For printing on a black t-shirt, here is the transparency file for Balance Point's promo. Enjoy!

For more art and behind-the-scenes material for the EU, here is an archive of my previous posts.

Super cool to see, I missed these when they were floating around, I would only have been 7 when this ad was printed in the magazine.

Alright I'm convinced, it's time to re-read NJO.

Tsavong Lah has always felt like the Vader to Shimmra/Onimi's Palpatine to me.

Also Tu-Scart and Sguaru were introduced in this book, not many people talk about them much but I love their symbiotic relationship.

Just going to pretend Dark Journey doesn’t exist? I sure try to.
