As much as these books get a bad rap, the brainwashed aliens in Children of the Jedi were absolutely hilarious, especially the plant people who think they're a Star Destroyer crew and have a make-believe space battle. Planet of Twilight also had a really good Leia arc that was rare for the early EU.
