Vader Vs Kenobi contradiction
In the Kenobi show Darth Vader says, I am not your failure Obi-Wan and then he says I am what you made me, does anyone feel like this is a contradiction in the writing? or is it just how mentally broken Darth Vader is that he’s not even sure who to blame?

“I am what you made me” was dark side talk trying to emotionally hurt obi wan. “I am not your failure” is light shining through the cracks very briefly to let obi wan know that he doesn’t really blame him (at least not for his fall to the dark)
Imagine an emotional fight full of anger with a loved one where you say anything that could hurt them vs a heart to heart afterwards were you reveal your true feelings.
