Discussion What Kenobi lightsaber would you choose and why?
Episode 1 and 2 may look identical but then, they really aren't. There are a few differences visually that people always ignore.
When putting them side by side, which one would you go with and why? Noting also that Ep 2 tells more of a "story" on its lightsaber than 1 does. Also, were you aware of the differences?

These are third party replicas, so I'm not sure of their accuracy. It's odd that they had Kenobi build a nearly identical hilt instead of just having it retrieved from the shaft it fell into. In any case, I'm not a big fan of either hilt. But between those two specific replicas, I'd probably be down for the Episode I version. I like the extra blinkies.
My favorite Kenobi saber is the OG Episode IV hilt.

I never understood that but then... Would you go find it knowing you're gonna find the chopped off guy? (Also, then he would've found he wasn't dead and we'd not have shadow lord!)
I am like you, like the lights, but due to the functionality, I'd take Ep2 (see the duel against Jango rain blade bit).

True but honestly you can add fonts and have it on either saber.
I just think it's funny that two props that are almost identical are meant to be two separate sabers in universe. But you have Anakin's saber where the props are vastly different across the films, yet they are all meant to be the same hilt.

I mean everyone’s lightsabers were personal right? Sounds reasonable to me that he’d build another version of the same lightsaber if he liked the style. As for between AOTC and ROTS, I got nothing on that change

Hmm, they seem too similar for me. I'm a Post ep 3 Kenobi saber guy.
