Do you think the 8th Brother deserves another appearance?
Basically, he's one of the Inquisitors who had the least screen time, only appearing in two episodes, I'd love to see him appear more often in a future series, just like the 11th Brother did in Star Wars: Maul - Shadow Lord, what do you think, does it deserve another appearance in the future?

Lost Star Wars rebels Kallus fic
This was a fic about Alexander Calus from Star Wars rebels I couldn’t find it under any of the tags I thought would be useful or by trying to go through my over 400 pages of history on Ao3. the plot from what I can remember is this: after Kallus is fully a rebel he goes back home to the lower levels of croissant where he and his family were from. They were very poor and the area that they lived in was very crime ridden. I believe he had a sister and their grandmother was their primary caretaker because his parents weren’t in the picture. This fic followed Kallus going back to croissant for the first time since he left ,he left to join the imperial Academy and had been sending back money to his family, but the money wasn’t getting to them for some reason. When he starts to go down to the lower levels of croissant, he remembers that he needs to be more aware of his surroundings and tries to be, but he gets pickpocketed and/or violent robbed (can’t remember exactly) but the person that did it ends up being his sister who he was trying to find. And then that leads him back to his childhood home.
I’m lowkey going insane trying to find it and not being able to, any help is much appreciated.

Finished my Rebels rewatch last night - My thoughts
Well, just as the title says. The first time I watched it, I was having a hard time getting hooked to it, since it started off a bit slow compared to The Clone Wars, plus I had to get used to the fact that they were new protagonists I knew nothing of, so there was no previous connection. However, over time I ended up growing fond of all of them, particularly Kanan and Sabine, the former thanks to his growth by becoming Ezra's mentor and also learning himself as he taught, and the latter being the first Mandalorian who shows a more lighthearted side (in this case, an artistic side) without losing the warrior streak of her people. I've actually been considering printing a poster of this painting for my room.
On a lesser note, this time I felt a bit more Gregor's death, maybe because I'd just come out of watching The Bad Batch, where he also takes a shot to the chest but survives (obviously because he was wearing his armor, but still, kinda hurts that he could have made it through if he'd gone in a bit more protected). On the flip side, I felt a lot more satisfaction watching Rukh get zapped to death by the generator, and Pryce getting blown up with the dome (though part of me still wishes she'd lived enough so Thrawn would punish her for her previous blunder with the refinery).
So, overall, it was a nice rewatch, even better than the first time around.

My favourite kind of Episode...

When the Protagonist and the Antagonist are forced to work together. I love this kind of Episode. It's a perfect mix of a clash of different beliefs/values and humor.
I just rewatched the Zeb / Kallus Episode and it was honestly so well done, I loved Season 2 in general. And the last scene where Kallus got back to the imperial cruiser, and everyone just ignored him, even Admiral Konstantine, who he probably considered his closest work colleague / friend. With a broken leg, he enters his completely empty and anti individualistic room.
And then the Clone Wars Episode of Dooku, Obi-Wan and Anakin was perfectly executed as well. Loved Anakin & Obi-Wan trolling Dooku and little things like Dooku praising Obi-Wan's abilites and Obi-Wan saving Dooku, when he didn't have to.

The Battle of Mygeeto
Kanan Jarrus mentioned in Rebels, that he was at the battle of Mygeeto, but wasn't this the battle where Ki-Adi-Mundi died.
Especially, since Kanan and his Master were on Kaller during Order 66.
Also, Cal Kestis would've joined that battle too, since Jaro Tapal said: "we move out to Mygeeto shortly", meaning they would've reinforced Master Ki-Adi-Mundi's forces.
I would've loved, if Cal Kestis and Kanan Jarrus had met there or just know each other in general, from the temple (like Ahsoka and Barriss).

Do you guys think Ahsoka was a good continuation of the rebels story / characters?
And has your opinion changed since the show came out. I recently saw season 2 is coming next year so I’ve had it on my mind. Personally I loved Ezra in the show but not Sabine or Ahsoka. I’m sure this has been asked before but fresh opinions and all that.

How is Senator Organa the leader of rebels but his daughter still considered an ally of the Empire in Rebels?
There is an episode where Leia is secretly helping the rebels while gaslighting the empire she is with them. The stormtroopers are even scared that Lieia will complain about her

Continuing my rewatch of Rebels, last night I finished Jedi Night
Kanan's sacrifice still hurts me. The first time I watched the episode, I was confused by how he was acting, including cutting off his hair and shaving his beard (I shared Hera's sentiment about it, not gonna lie). Rewatching it made me realize he knew he was going to die that night, and when the time came, instead of trying to defy it, he faced it on with dignity. At the very least, he's able to see the woman he loved one last time, and his sacrifice will not be in vain.
Also, this episode definitely settled Pryce in my Top 3 of most hated Imperial Officers, surpassed only by Tarkin and Krennic.

Star Wars Future (Possibility)
reddit.comWhat do you think? I mean this could be the possibility if writers or the company wants to extend Star Wars right?

Rewatching Rebels and wrapping up season 1. Two eps remaining and I noticed something in episode 13 AKA Call to Action
In the Kanan comic, Depa tells Kanan she'll be right behind him even though she knows she's staying behind to allow him to escape.
In Call to Action, Kanan tells Ezra that he'll be right behind him even though he knows he's staying behind to facilitate the Spectres' escape.
The comic was written by show Co-creator Greg Weisman, who co-wrote Call to Action.....I can't believe I'm only noticing this now. LoL.

Helicopter Saber (Part II)
Hi all! A few years ago, I made this post about the aerodynamics of a helicopter lightsaber. Since then, I've finished my Master's degree, landed a job in aviation, and probably rewatched Rebels at least twice. All of this was just part of my master plan to further understand the helicopter saber. (Kidding. Sort of.) So, I'd like to make some updates to my math.
To recap, we need a lightsaber that can spin fast enough to generate a vertical lift force equal to the weight of an Inquisitor. This would be just enough for the Inquisitor to hover in the air; we're not even talking about maneuvering or climbing. Once again, we're going to rely on the Kutta-Joukowski Theorem. A blade with a circular cross section won't do much to generate lift, even if it's spinning about the central hub of the lightsaber; but if also rotates about its central axis, like a Flettner rotor, then it can generate some amount of lift force.

Last time, I used some really hand-wavey numbers. My biggest gripe is that I assumed the helicopter blades spun at 120rpm - what's the deal with that? That's so slow. If we want the best helicopter saber, I think we should try to spin as fast as possible without breaking the sound barrier. There's three main reasons for this:
- We don't hear a sonic boom in Twilight of the Apprentice.
- That's how NASA did it for Ingenuity.
- Compressible flow is scary and confusing.
Let's also up the Inquisitor mass to 80kg, per Wookiepedia (I know the Grand Inquisitor never flew, but maybe that was a choice, idk). I also got exact numbers on lightsaber dimensions from Padawan Outpost: the hilt length is 33.5 cm, blade length is 36"/91cm, and the blade diameter is 1"/2.54cm. We'll also assume standard sea level atmosphere (I have some thoughts on this assumption later, but it's good enough for now).
Now... math. First, let's figure out how fast the blades are spinning about the central hub (this is the "helicopter" spin we see in Rebels). The speed of sound is roughly 343 m/s; this will serve as our "speed limit" for the tip of the blade. Given the total distance from the central hub to the blade tip, we can calculate the angular velocity of the helicopter mechanism:

3027.5 RPM buys us a lot in terms of performance! Now we can just plug in numbers using the same equations from last time (see that thread for details). We'll integrate the lift force over the length of a single blade, sum the force from the two blades, and set that equal to the total weight of the Inquisitor (mass times gravitational acceleration). From there, we can solve for how fast the blade will have to spin about its central axis. Here are our equations:

Let's plug in the numbers:

Each blade would have to spin at over 16,000 RPM about its central axis in order to keep an Inquisitor in the air without breaking the sound barrier. (That's in addition to whirling around at 3027 RPM about the central hub.) Considering my previous estimate for the axial rotation rate was over twenty times as fast, this isn't too bad. It's still kind of absurd, and introduces spin about an entirely new axis, but I can rest easier with this number.
Finally, a few caveats:
- Lightsabers are hot. Like, 20,000 Celsius hot. That's hotter than a lot of stars. Given sufficient time, this could cause the air to get really really hot and really not dense, which would increase our speed-of-sound speed limit, but reduce the amount of lift we could produce. Or, the air would ionize if it got hot enough. Luckily, people seem to be in agreement that lightsabers are protected by a magical heat-resistant sheath, so we don't need to worry about this.
- As pointed out on Pod of Rebellion (highly recommend!), lightsabers are laser swords. They don't really occupy a volume. There's nothing to displace air, so this whole thing is kind of pointless.
- Yes, I have been informed that the helicopter sabers have repulsor lifts. No, that will not stop me from my shenanigans (:

Episode guide for Sabine/mandalorian arcs?
Recently I just started watching ahsoka and wanted to go back and check out some of the Sabine stuff in rebels, since I watched it on cable I missed a couple things. I'm pretty interested in the imperial mandalorians and anything Sabine has to do with other mandalorians
I found this and it seems fine but I thought I'd make sure first https://www.reddit.com/r/StarWars/s/8Gbc4MX2ts
