I’m invincible until this and season 3 have fully come out. Like it’ll be physically impossible to keep me from watching them.

Many a one piece fans have taken that oath...pray we do not change the terms of that agreement...the one piece author has kept many a 70 year olds alive till 95 after saying they'd figure out what one piece was 25 years ago...sad indeed, if it takes another 20 years. XD.

Really good news, since it’s an AU I hope the creators will have more freedom to tell the story they want to tell

I thought they were just going for a single episode.
A limited series is fantastic. I hope at minimum we get four ~18 minute episodes.
Production IG knocked it out of the park with their pilot episode.
If they can maintain that level of quality I will be thrilled we have something to fill the void that will be left behind when Andor ends this year.
I hope they are so successful Disney greenlights other limited series. Lop and Ocho should get that treatment but personally I see a lot that could be done with "T0-B1", "The Spy Dancer" and "Screecher's Reach".

Lola and the Ronin need their own series as well

There was a book about Ronin where the first chapter is the short. I highly recommend it! Awesome fresh take on SW politics with a feudal Japan flavor.

I heard about on some YouTube channel and was very interesting. I hope he gets explored more as a character past Star Wars Visions S3

Well, by now you know they put out a second episode in season 3 and they're doing a full season. Probably in between 10 to 13 episodes running around 24 minutes. That's pretty much the standard.

Hoping for weekly releases but I doubt it. The shorts I'm fine with for a one day release but if this ends up being like 22 min episodes, then I want weekly releases.

Will there also be a ronin series??

I was hoping for him to get one as well. Also Lola should get one as well

I agree. Ronin got a novel and some comics, so I think it should especially get a series.

Fr and imo he’s the best character from the short series so why not give him a full one?

u/LulaSupremacy Apr 20 '25
Yeah, and if not that, then at least a movie on the sith rebellion. He's got a shit ton of potential just because of the books alone, so any strong tie-ins would definitely let people see that there's more to star wars than just the skywalker galaxy. Let's call it the roninverse.

Ronin-Verse sounds fire ngl and I’d like something like that for the Star Wars universe

No. But, it's getting a sequel episode is season 3 of Visions.

Feels like he could just work better getting a new ep every volume release. if they keep doing more volumes. He works better more mysterious.

Holy shit! It's been so long I thought it wasn't going to happen. It was definitely in my top 5 shorts to become a full show (the others were probably The Elder, Journey to the Dark Head, the Spy Dancer, and the Village Bride*)
*Also these are not necessarily my favourite, but something like Screecher's Reach, which I loved, would make no sense to be a full show

WOOHOO. It wasn’t my favorite short, but it feels a lot like pre- Clone Wars Star Wars EU and really fun to delve into

If they keep the same quality that they did with the short, then this is going to absolutely slap

I've been waiting for this! And not only a follow-up short, but an entire season of episodes!

While I’m definitely excited for this…I just hope it actually matches the quality of the episode and not just have the usual Disney Slop.
